Features of the mod

The new features present in the mod are:-
* New team Imperial mercenaries
- A new team which is one of the strongest teams in the history of the universe. Loyal to their masters the House Corrino.
- They replace the house ordos who are not present in the mod missions.
* New music
- A way to show a new journey it's best to put in new music.
* New units
- Says hello to some new people you'll be seeing in the mod.

- New construction which surpasses the use of the old unused buildings in the old game.

- Play as Atriedes, Sardaukar & the new house Imperial Mercenaries across Araakian Desert on a plan of destruction and betrayal.

-[NEW UPDATE] Now play missions of prologue and epilogue whereyou play either as Indigenous Fremen, Insidious Corrino Or the Loyal Imperial Mercenaries.

Well after a few more developments in the game mod tools now i'm working on a few more missions for the game other than the main missions...
These new missions are side missions which are either prologue or epilogue missions...
You can play as fremen also in prologue and epilogue missions...
Imperial Mercenaries will be recieving prologue and epilogue missions...
Emperor will be available in prologue and epilogue missions...
So totally we increased the missions from original

27 missions to 81 missions...

And can add even more but will do less here due to time constraints...
Also Menus are to be remade and need designs..

Any such suggestions for menus are open and anyone can help...

Also we'll be continuing the game as a sequel which will take time as we are planning to use another engine to create the game...
But will be announcing on it when we've decided to start of...

After an year of modding and editing. We've reached 75% of our mod production...
All missions are complete and bugtests for all missions are also complete...
Rewiring of some missions to fix its extreme difficulty back to normal is underway...
The new units need stat changes due to problems of them either useless or too destructive on the battle field...

Other news is The FMV crew is still not ready due to miscalculations of stuff...
GUI replacement is also behind schedule so the demo release might be postponed to a further date...
Replacement in the audio is also underway and will also take time to complete...
Text replacement is completed...
Map bugs to be searched for in the near future...
New maps for Skirmish/multiplayer/LAN...

Sardaukar and Harkonnen share the same space hence in single player they are sardaukar and in multiplayer they are harkonnen....

Srdaukar Missions 1-6 has been completed and few more bugs out of the way the game is going great...
Replacements in the GUI is also going on simultaneously....
Mission 7 has a problem so will undergo a high level of reviewing before finalizing the mission...
8-bit sprite are also being made so we can have new buildings soon...

After a few changes using the tibed 1....
Sardaukar team has been formed...
A few more editing in the tileset and we got ice....
The mod missions are almost complete as the Sardaukar Mission 1 was a success in playtesting but the game becomes hard here....
The new missions will test stratergy again but will be harder than the original....
Sardaukar has now two new units and a new building...

In Sardaukar Missions you won't be able to build any buildings and motorized vehicles but might gain them through reinforcements or by starport...
Only ground troops like Harkonnen trooper, Engineer, Light Sardaukar & Heavy Sardaukar are only buildable...

After a few tries found that the sprites of 16bit cannot be changed for new ones...
The game when played in 8bit mode you'll see new stuff in it...
Sardaukar team is really hard to make...
Sardaukar troops are a bit problematic but the maps are going great...
No idea how much it'll take to finish the mod...
FMV shooting will take a looong time...
GUI replacement will be done soon...

Good news guys....
Solved the building house shift bug to an extent and also completed the
atriedes missions...
Sardaukar campaign work will begin from today...
Using Emperor house as sardaukar has some rewiring problems as it uses
harkonnen buildings...
Thinking of using Other buildings like. which are part of the original d2k
campaign that might just might allow me to do what I want...
2 tiers of Sardaukar infantry are available....
Sardaukar and Elite Sardaukar...
And for imperial mercenaries there is Light Sardaukar...

Well first the good news. Our cheif bug playtester shadoken cleaned dished out a lot of bugs which were fixed. Also we finished a few more maps and added snow maps for sardaukar campaign. Then here comes the bad news i am to be busy in a work that cropped up suddenly and the cheif bug playtester will be unavailable for atmost a week. So the updates will be a bit late.

A Brief Intro to mod
Date:9th March 2013

Features:
Ordos has been replaced by a new house Imperial Mercenaries.
Old useless units have been replaced by Newer and better units for all houses.
Storyline of the game has been changed.
New maps and missions.
The Graphical User Interface & Mission Briefing Videos are also changed.
Few music will be overwritten by new one or from westwood's other games.
